Whether you're looking to dine out for lunch or are celebrating at home, we're letting you know the best Chinese New Year menus to indulge in this year
With the recent announcement that social distancing restrictions in Hong Kong have been extended to February 3, it's looking less and less likely that Chinese New Year celebrations will take their usual shape this year. But while dining out for dinner and gathering in large groups may be quite literally off the table, there are still plenty of ways to celebrate the occasion with your nearest and dearest. From traditional menus, to modern twists and at-home sets, we're letting you know the best places to eat in Hong Kong this Chinese New Year.
If spice is more your thing, indulge this Chinese New Year in a delicious and decadent array of mains at Chilli Fagara. The Sichuan hot spot is serving a special menu for the occasion, complete with dishes created with traditional ingredients to wish diners prosperity, wealth and good fortune in the year of the golden Ox––from crispy-fried golden sea bream topped with smoked Sichuan eagle tea leaves, to whole cooked Boston red lobster and warming hot and sour soup with oxtail.
